Amery Ice Shelf Loose Tooth Monitoring 2005-2006
Upon arriving at Davis Station, the ship stopped in the thick ice about a mile offshore and lowred a plank. We walked off onto the ice and wandered around in amazement for a while before getting into a soccer match. We had to stop the game at one point because a group of Adelie penguins wandered on to the field to see what was going on!
