We have new rooms/times for our problem sessions. Starting Jan 21 there will be two sessions per week. The first session will be Wednesdays 1:00 to 1:50 PM in WLH room 2205. The second session each week will be Thursdays 4:00 to 4:50 PM in WLH room 2111.

I co-taught this course with Dr Gabi Laske for several years. Two of the lectures Dr Laske gave were on Minerals and Rocks and Igneous rocks. I will be at a meeting early next week and Dr Laske has kindly agreed to give these lectures again - this coming Monday and Wednesday. I will give all other lectures in this class. In case you haven't heard, Dr Laske also teaches the very popular companion course to SIO 10; SIO 15 on natural hazards.
